            WOO IN A ROMANTIC EVENING

It was a beautiful Saturday evening she was strolling on her terrace, the evening sun’s rays filtered through a large tree in the backyard kissing her smooth face and the fresh cool breeze blew her silky hair which she adjusted neatly behind her ears. Helping her mother with household errands, the day so far had been boring for her, most of the time her mind was possessed by the thoughts of her man she loved hoping to get a call or just a text which could have made her day but with little luck so far she had retained herself from making the first move.

Her love was still unrevealed but her women intuitive instincts had already informed her curious heartthat he too had his heart pierced with cupid’s arrows but she like most women desired her man to woo her first. The calmness of the evening and the scenic view at the horizon was like a big stage lit with a soothing romantic light she gazed at the dipping sun longing for the most romantic meeting with her beloved.
She gazed at her phone still anticipating a call from him, her day long wait was slowly turning into disappointment she had almost given up hope when suddenly a message beep on her phone brought her back to life it was HIS text! The text had brought a big blushing smile on her sun lit glittering face feeling happy and angry at the same time she read through each word of the text. With after few exchanges of the texts she decided to call him disregarding her ----to call first it was her love and excitement which won this time.

The conversation on the phone ignited her heart and she could not hide the excitement in her voice talking about the details of the day the two of them disconnected from the world and got engrossed in light and soothing conversation. The romance filled evening and the rich conversation resulted in their meeting, they decided not to waste the day and meet at a local coffee shop which was on a hill top amidst the lush green pine trees a perfect spot for the local lovers it was him who proposed the idea of meeting which she could not put down. They were still not official lovers but mutually agreed the place due to its location and to ignore the common din.

It was like her wish for the day had come true and was over excited for the unofficial date though it was not for the first time they were meeting but on previous occasions it was more like friendly meets or intruded by their other friends. Their relation had gradually transformed to love over few weeks which made this meeting important and exciting for her.

She roughly had about an hour to prepare herself before the decided time which she considered too little as she wanted to look her best to charm her man. After the shower she sat in front of the mirror blushing at herself how happy and excited I am she thought got into the best outfit and wore light but rich makeup  as she didn’t wanted to reveal too much that she took the meeting as an extra special occasion. Within an hour she somehow managed to get ready for date though not fully convinced by her appearance although she looked so beautiful that even the male angels from heaven would have come to woo her.

Disregarding the surrounding nature beauty as she rode through the valley, the road surrounded by trees beneath the blue sky which was partly covered with colored clouds appearing like a canvas in the twilight.  She rode up to the hill top to the coffee shop which was blessed with nature’s beauty the beautiful pine trees surrounded the shop and colorful flower beds appeared like an artist’s imagination. There was an open patio which allowed to capture the majestic mountains an ideal spot to view the sunset for nature lovers, the décor of coffee shop was equally impressive with cozy sofas antique pictures on the walls and dim light complimented by the candles place on each table highlighted the ambience whereas light romantic music along with friendly and greeting staff made it a desirable spot.

She arrived at the coffee shop before him and decided to take the patio out in open a table near to the fences from where she gazed at the horizon with her dreamy eyes. She was lost in her own world waiting anxiously for his arrival even minutes seemed to be ages to her, with her eyes locked on the entrance which occasionally switched to somewhere in the horizon, every passing second was making her more impatient. Soon her impatience was wiped off by the gift her eyes finally gave her; he walked in with a loving smile on his face and move straight to greet her.

She stood up to greet him as he approached her, they both offered each other a beautiful smile before they greeted each other with a hand shake which was a little injustice for the kind of feelings they had for a hug here was the need of the hour which they both found difficult to ignore but they both did. They decided to sit out in open patio; she couldn’t stop herself from blushing while they spoke the occasional eye contacts in between made the love chemicals to rush through their veins. He could not stop admiring her, her kohl highlighted eyes, scarlet rosy lips and the soft cords of her voice was making his heart to dance,  the fresh sweet fragrance of her perfume filled his nostrils with divine intoxication which the layers of flower bed along the table fence could not.

The day had now surrendered to the beautiful full moon which had just appeared spreading her white milky light setting a perfect stage for two lovers. The dark patches of clouds occasionally covered the moon which threatened for showers but maybe later, as of now the silence and calmness of the night made him to hold her hand she too couldn’t not resist slowly rested her head on his broad shoulders. Holding hands in each other’s arms in a full moon lit light any young lover would had died for, not a single word was exchanged between them it was only the eyes and the silence which was doing the talking.

“Is it the perfect time to woo her” he thought though uttering those three magical words was just a formality they had already exchanged those words with speechless messages through their eyes on numerous occasions. She on the other hand had totally surrendered herself to the romantic hour resting her head on his shoulders and holding his hand she never wanted this time to end. The coffee shop was almost deserted by now and the shop attenders also left the young couple alone in each other’s company.

Their precious moment which they wanted to end till eternity was interrupted by the light drizzle which began to pour like blessings from the sky. He took her hand and stood up when the showers became steady. The time had come when they had to end the moment it was both the time and nature which had forced them to do so. Holding hands they walked towards the parking where their two- wheelers were parked, had it been just one vehicle he wished as they rode parallel to each other in their respective vehicles. The drizzle now had picked up the pace but neither of them was too much worried about it as they slowly rode through the dense valley occasionally looking at each other and exchanging few light words, the road was mostly empty due to the downpour and that part of the town was not that busy even in the v hours. The two lovers mostly rode their two wheelers parallel to each other enjoying each moment; the cool breeze along with a uniform rain had added a different flavor to their romantic meeting.

The drizzle now had transformed to a steady rain and had begun to drench the two love birds, he took notice of the discomfort it was causing his lady so decided to look for an appropriate place to take shelter before the rain could totally drench them. As the road bisected a lush green forest down the valley the place had lots of big trees to take shelter after choosing a large tree which was only few meters from the road. Leaving their vehicles at the corner of the road they quickly ran towards the tree under one of its heavy branch.
With few giggles and mild smiles they settled under the tree holding hands he gazed at her, with dim surrounding light which was only offered by a street lamp placed at the corner of the road, her face had its own bright glow with tiny droplets of rain on her face twinkling like little stars, her wet hair appeared like source of the night he thought, she appeared like an angel sent to him from the rain Gods he felt.

He took his handkerchief and wiped off the droplets dripping from her face she was overwhelmed by the love and care she was been offered by her man. They looked deep into each other’s eyes and read all the love speechless messages that was been conveyed. Her eyes were overflowing with excessive love, he too revealed every unspoken word which is tongue till now had denied.  The two of them were lost in each other’s eyes with silence all around only the music of the rainfall played romantic notes at the background.
This was the perfect time the nature had scripted to woo her, he held both her hands looked deep into her eyes and finally uttered those divine three words. She almost collapsed those word had touched the depths of her soul; she slowly slipped in into his arms. The hug was prolonged as they both were trying to digest of what had just happened, she could hear his heartbeat against his chest while they were wrapped in each other’s arms. Slowly she lifted her head to look into his eyes; he held her face with one hand and still keeping her close to him with the other. They looked into each other’s eyes which were overflowing with love, he moved his lips closer to her quivering lips she closed her eyes seconds later their lips were locked together they kissed passionately. She broke the kiss and slipped again into his arms, he engulfed her and kissed her forehead.

The rain had now almost vanished with only light dazzles they decide to leave now. They moved along hand in hand to their vehicles and rode together to their new long destination ahead.
